As breeders, we do everything we can to maintain good bloodlines. We want only one thing: to bring healthy, stable dogs into the world, loyal companions for their owners.
That is why we do our homework carefully. We never rush into choosing a male or female dog. It is not always the big champions that produce good offspring. The dog must have more to offer than just a title in work or show. We ask ourselves: how is the dog outside of work, in everyday life, is it healthy, how does it behave?
Our dogs are raised with care, our pregnant females are closely monitored and lovingly guided and supported through the birth.
Once the puppies are born, we never lose sight of them. The first few nights we sleep next to the mother and the puppies, so that if they need anything, we can give it to them. There is also 24-hour camera surveillance.
For the first two weeks, no strangers are allowed near the litter due to the risk of infection, and we also want to give the mother plenty of rest.
Then the hard work begins. We do everything we can to ensure that the puppies are fully prepared to take the big step to a new home. The initial socialization and training already starts with us. They get their first crate training, first car ride, learn what a vacuum cleaner is, cyclists, traffic, and they also get to know other animals such as horses, strange dogs, and so on.
And then comes the day when we have to hand them over. Saying goodbye is hard, and with a heavy heart, our vulnerable puppy is placed in the hands of its new owner. Away from the protection of its mother and us as breeders. In the hope that the new owner will do everything possible to give our puppy the best care.
Bringing puppies into the world is a serious matter, especially because we continue to feel responsible for the dogs throughout their lives. Even though they leave us, and they go to their new owners, the saying “out of sight, out of mind” definitely does not apply to us. As a breeder, you have to feel confident that your puppy is going to a good home.
In short, there has to be a kind of “click” with the potential owner. But of course, this also applies the other way around. As a puppy buyer, you also need to feel confident about the breeder and the dogs in question. After all, you are not buying a puppy for a short time, but for life.
As concerned breeders, it is only natural that we bombard you with all kinds of questions, so please don't take this personally! We do this in the best interests of the puppy. This means that we try to obtain as much information as possible from the future owners in advance so that we can form a picture of your wishes and ideas. The introduction between you, as the potential owner, and us as the breeder usually takes place before the puppies are even born.
You are more than welcome to make an appointment for a no-obligation introductory meeting. By reserving in advance, you are guaranteed a puppy.
Because we want to give everyone a fair chance at a puppy, we work with a waiting list and on the basis of reservation date. A reservation is confirmed by means of a deposit, which also serves as a mutual guarantee.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking early!
All our puppies leave the litter with a sales contract, which you can of course read in advance. As soon as the puppy is ready to leave the litter, we will give you the sales contract, all the paperwork, and a nice puppy package.
The puppies themselves have:
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, we are happy to help.
The recognized breeding program by the Flemish government aims to reduce the most common hereditary disorders without excluding too many dogs to maintain genetic diversity within the breed population. Instead of systematically excluding animals, we have developed a breeding advice based on thoughtful combinations. This approach takes into account the physical health of the animals, and dogs suffering from any of these conditions are excluded from breeding. Therefore, we subject our dogs used in our breeding program to various health tests that are specifically associated with the breed.
Sometimes life takes a turn, and things don't always end up as expected.
We fear that one of our puppies or dogs might end up in a shelter or suddenly appear on a selling platform.
To prevent this, we kindly request that the dog is returned to us or that we are involved in finding them a new home. This way, we can ensure they go to a good place.
If you have any questions about our rehoming process, please feel free to contact us.
