Our kennel is located in Belgium in the charming rural area of Berlare, conveniently situated between the vibrant cities of Ghent and Antwerp.
We are committed to maintaining excellence in our breeding practices by selecting dogs from superior bloodlines known for their exceptional health, stable temperament, and impressive working abilities. To ensure the well-being of our dogs, all of them have undergone thorough DNA testing and completed essential health and genetic assessments specific to their breed. They are accompanied by a Sint-Hubertus and FCI pedigree/certificate of descent, a European passport, and an identification microchip.
Following the guidelines and standards of Flemish breeding, we strive to produce litters of exceptional quality approximately once a year. If you are interested in welcoming a "van de UTADREEF" puppy into your home, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
At the kennel van de UTADREEF, our dogs are cherished members of our family and are raised in a loving home environment.
Aside from that, we supports puppies, adult dogs, and their families in strengthening their relationships and addressing behavior challenges. We also provide guidance for enhancing training to a more advanced levels.

Throughout my life, I have been passionately involved with dogs and horses.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of owning several dog breeds, including an English Cocker Spaniel, a Boxer, and the Doberman. However, it was the Doberman that truly captured my heart. My first Doberman companion showed me the world, from participating in shows to traveling as far as Budapest. We excelled in various activities together, igniting a desire for more.
Since then, I knew that there would always be a Doberman in my life. I had a clear vision of the perfect Doberman for me and what characteristics they should possess. The dream of breeding a litter myself started to take shape. After years of anticipation, I finally had the opportunity to pursue my passion thanks to Geert, culminating in the creation of our first litter.

Founder
My interest in dogs, dog behavior, and training began in my childhood. It all started when I got my first dog, Max, a Briard, with whom I participated in obedience training programs for 10 years. Seeking more challenge after a decade, I then acquired my first Belgian Malinois, 'Utamarou Des Deux Pottois'.
After achieving great success in IPO/IGP with Utamarou, I decided to venture into breeding Belgian Malinois myself. This led to the establishment of the kennel 'van de Utadreef' in 2003.
Prioritizing quality, I carefully chose my dogs from top bloodlines known for stable temperament and working abilities, establishing a strong foundation for my kennel.
Besides being excellent working dogs, 'the Belgian Malinois' is also known for its loyalty and reliability.
Over time, my kennel has gained global recognition, with our puppies being sold not only in Belgium but also abroad, including all European countries, USA, Asia, and more.
In addition to my breeding activities, I am actively involved as an international judge in IGP and show. I hold positions in the board of Sectie 1C and the Belgian Dobermann Club.

JESSICA VERLINDEN
As the daughter of... and an animal lover at heart, everything about dogs has been instilled in me from a young age.
I stood by my father's side from an early age.
I assisted with every birth of a litter and in taking care of the puppies until they were ready to leave the nest.
I was my father's biggest fan and supporter at the numerous World Championships he competed in.
And now, I continue to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed.

Over the past 30 years, I have competed in over 30 world championships with my Belgian Malinois. Recently, I have been competing with a Doberman, which presents a new and exciting challenge.
Building a strong bond between the dog and owner is paramount to us. Establishing this relationship from the start is key, which is why puppy training is crucial.
